4.5" x 4" x 1/8": Cedar Vessel finished in shellac. Hollow form (the opening is narrower than the diameter) vessel shape reminiscent of an old wild west brass spitoon - just a lot smaller - is from a cedar tree grown in western Henrico County, Virginia, along River Road and removed as the front yard was thinned out to allow more light into the house.
